April Steeby, a photographer for Marie's Photography, has been notified that she is one of 80 finalists in a nationwide photography contest entitled "Baby and Child". Over 9,700 entries were received from photographers across the United States.
April's photograph is of baby Lexi, daughter of Sara Eiman and Cyrus Dunlap of Savannah, MO.
Final round winners will be announced during the first week of August. The Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000, first place will win $2,000, second place $1,000, third place $750 and hnonorable mention will win $500. All prize monies will be awarded to the child's family. April will receive a 20 x 30 image of her photograph for the studio.

Wow, I can't believe that summer is coming to an end already! Next week we will be at the high school for registration, snapping school photos once again.

Now August is here and will probably pass us by just as quickly as the summer did. We are booked through September, and the 1st two weeks of October are almost full, everyone wants those beautiful fall colors. I can't believe it's already been a week since our second After Dark event! It was a scorcher of a day, but once again we had people lined up at the door waiting to get in!
